HOW TO PRINT DOUBLE SIDED EASILY-A5

Before showing you how to print my inserts double sided easily, please note that all my planners always
come in two formats: one PDF on regular size and another one PDF on letter size to print on Letter sized paper or A4 sized paper too (with crop marks).

For example in the case of the A5 inserts there are two formats: the regular A5 to print on A5 sized paper (no cutting required) and another one in letter size to print on Letter sized paper or A4 sized paper too with crop marks for easy cutting.

So now let’s start with the tutorial step by step depending on what size of paper do you use:

IF YOU USE A5 SIZED PAPER (NO CUTTING REQUIRED):

  1. Place the blank A5 paper into the printer paper tray

  2. Open up the the A5 format PDF file you want to print

  3. Go to FILE > PRINT. Now select the box ACTUAL SIZE and chose the size of your paper A5 and click
the PRINT button. (note:Most printers will automatically detect what the correct page orientation is, if not be sure to select PORTRAIT)

  4. Now reinsert this printed A5 paper into the printer paper tray with the print side up, then print again on this side. Super easy!

Obviously, if you only have an A4 paper you can pre-cut an A4 paper by the middle with a guillotine to
get an A5 paper and then print directly with the A5 format PDF file.

IF YOU USE LETTER OR A4 SIZED PAPER (CUTTING REQUIERED):

  1. Place the blank Letter or A4 paper into the printer paper tray

  2. Open up the letter/a4 format PDF file you want to print

  3. Go to FILE > PRINT. Now select the box ACTUAL SIZE and chose the size of your paper letter or A4
and click the PRINT button. (note:Most printers will automatically detect what the correct page orientation is, if not be sure to select portrait)

  4. Cut the page by the crop marks. Now you will get an A5 paper.

  5. Reinsert this printed A5 paper into the printer paper tray with the print side up.

  6. Open up the the A5 format PDF file you want to print.

  7. Go to FILE > PRINT. Now select the box ACTUAL SIZE and chose the size of your paper A5 and click
the PRINT button. (note:Most printers will automatically detect what the correct page orientation is, if not be sure to select PORTRAIT).Very easy!

Printing bulk undated pages:

If you want to print several undated inserts print the 1st page with 5 copies or more, then reinsert those pages into the printer paper tray with the print side up, and then print the 2nd page on those pages with the same number of copies.

Printing bulk dated pages:

If you want to print several dated inserts first print the odd pages, then reinsert those pages into the printer paper tray with the print side up, and then print the even pages on those pages.

I hope this helps you to print my inserts!
